The Camera Guys stand behind our work and our equipment! We offer a Manufacturer Limited Warranty on the equipment and a 3 year warranty on our installations.
We cover anything that was definitively caused by our installation including, but not limited to: loose/faulty camera mounting, bad conduit installation, loose/faulty cables, loose/faulty connectors, damage done to the house during installation. We do not cover anything caused by nature/weather or damage not caused by us including, but not limited to: Animals chewing through wires, deteriorating conduit due to weather, personal damage to cameras, flood damage, earthquake damage, tornado damage, damage done to ones person, damage done to any person caused by any or all parts on the equipment.
Warranty Coverage LT Security, Inc. warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below: LT Security, Inc. (“LTS”) warrants its product against defects in materials and workmanship for the period(s) and product(s) specified herein. If a defect exists, at its discretion LTS will (1) repair the product at no charge using new or serviceable replacement parts, OR (2) replace the product with a product that is new and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product. NVRs/DVRs: For a period of three (3) years on Platinum Series Products, two (2) years on standard HD-SDI and Analog Products, including hard drives, from the date of original purchase. CAMERAS: For a period of three (3) years on Platinum Series cameras; two (2) years for Platinum series PTZ high speed dome; One (1) year for HD-SDI, Analog, IP and PTZ cameras from the date of original purchase.
NETWORK: Issues related to network changes or network resets not caused by The Camera Guys, are not covered under our 3 year warranty. These will be treated as a possible billable Service Call.
Cancellation/Non Payment of Projects will result in a billing of accrued labor and a 20% restocking fee on all components. Installed components will be removed.
ACCESSORIES: For a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase; for a period of three (3) years on power supplies.
Obtaining Warranty Service / Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy When you contact LTS for warranty service, you will be asked to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before you can send the product back to LTS. Please prepare to furnish your name, company name, address, telephone number, invoice number (proof of purchase and date), item code, serial number and a detailed description of the apparent or alleged defect. Please download the RMA Form to assist with your warranty service request. The purchaser is responsible for, at their own expense, delivering the product(s) to the LTS sales office from which they made the purchase. All replacement or repaired products for defective RMA items will be shipped to customer by Ground only. The cost of any expedited shipping option will be the customer’s responsibility. All requests for advanced replacement or cross-shipping service can only be granted on payment terms; credit will be issued upon receipt of the original defective item. Note: Before you deliver your product for warranty service it is your responsibility to keep a separate backup copy of the system software, application software and data. Data recovery is not included in the warranty service and LTS is not responsible for data that may be lost or damaged during transit, repair or replacement. LTS will not install or reinstall any software that is not of the original system configuration.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS: LTS is not liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other information stored later by the user on the DVR, NVR, or CAMERA. Recovery and reinstallation such programs and user data are not covered under this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by accident, negligence, mishandling, misuse, abuse, or products not supplied by LTS; (b) to damage caused by faulty installation, misconfiguration, misapplication, improper operation, alteration or modification without written permission of LTS, or service performed by anyone other than an LTS authorized personnel; (c) to damage caused by power surge, improper voltage supply, lightning strike, flood, earthquake, or damage that is attributable to nature disasters; (d) if the LTS serial number has been removed or defaced.
IN NO CASE SHALL LTS, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF ANY LTS PRODUCT, OR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST OF CONTRACTS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL, DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH LTS PRODUCTS, AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCT LTS SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT REPRESENT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR MAKE A PRODUCT EXCHANGE WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF PROGRAMS OR DATA. . LTS DOES NOT GUARANTEE, REPRESENT, OR WARRANT THAT THE USE OF ITS PRODUCT OR SERVICE WILL BE FREE FROM INTERRUPTION, ERROR, LOSS, CORRUPTION, ATTACK, VIRUSES, INTERFERENCE, HACKING, OR OTHER SECURITY INTRUSION, AND LTS DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY RELATING THERETO. LTS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF LTS CANNOT, IN SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS, LAWFULLY CLAIM LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OR DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY AND LTS’ LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
No LTS reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.
